Carlos Ray "Chuck" Norris born on March 10 1940 in Ryan, Oklahoma and is the son of Wilma and Ray Norrys. He is an american actor and media personality specialized in martial arts He served in US Air Force but became famouse after he founded his own martial arts school named Chun Kuk Do. Norris had a mediocre childhood. Some children in its childhood often taunted him because of his multiple ethnicity. He worked in the US Air Force as an Air Policeman in the year 1958 and was sent to Osan Air Base, South Korea, a location where he got his nickname Chuck and started his training for Tang Soo Do martial art.
Rise to Fame
Norris became famous after he defeated Joe Lewis, Skipper Mullins, Arnold Urquidez, Victor Moore, Ron Marchini and Steve Sanders in 1967 at the International Karate Championships. He won the Professional Middlewight Karate title after defeating Louis Degaldo on 24 november 1968 avenging this way his tenth loss which was also his last of his career.
He started his film career in 1977 in the movie Breaker! Breaker! and continued it in movies such as Good Guys Wear Black (1978), The Octagon(1980), An Eye for an Eye(1981) and Lone Wolf McQuade making an icrease of his box office bankabillity. In 1993 he played the role of Cordell Walker in Walker Texas Ranger series which lasted eight years on CBS.
Personal life
Norris married Diane Holechek in 58 and had his first child in 1963 which was named Mike. A year after the birth of his first son, his daughter Dina was born to a woman he was not married to. He's second son with his wife named Eric was born in 1965. Even through he had 2 children with Holechek, Norris divorced in 1988.
