Career:
Few people had heard flamenco before they made a show out of each stage appearance. The spanish dancer revolutionized dance with his sensual movements and passion.
At age 12 he studied dance in Madrid and at 15 years was working as a soloist with the Spanish National Ballet. Here he was offered the great opportunity to dance on the world's most famous scenes from the Kremlin Palace of Congress and to the Metropolitan Opera. After he left here in 1992 and founded his own company called "Joaquin Cortes Ballet Flamenco".
