Vida Guerra was born in Havana, Cuba on March 19, 1974. She is a model, actress, singer and celebrity. It was under Fidel Castro that she fled Cuba on a boat, she couldn't take the communism and pressure anymore. Her father tried to escape once before even meeting Vida's mother but he got cought and as put in prison for two years. The head of the family was told by the government that he could not stay in the country anymore because he was against communism and Fidel Castro's regime so, in March 1979 on Vida's birthday the family went on a boat and moved to Costa Rica in Colombia, then to Bahamas and then to Miami. The family was broke and homeless but her father worked hard on various jobs to get the one step further until they finally moved to the United States. Vida sayd: "The way I was raised made me the person I am today".

Guerra's first big breakthrough was her appearance in FHM's lingerie spread of December 2002. After the publication, FHM stated that more thank 30% of the mailers were demanding more photos of Vida. After that she started being featured in multiple magazines including Escape, DUB, Smooth, Open your eyes. most of the time she would appear on the cover. Lady Vida was voted 26th of the 100 sexiest females on FHM's Top 100. She also received the "Best Buts award twice. She was also the subject of a calendar with hot photos of her, the calendar helped her gain more popularity.

She appeared in television programs like "El Gordo y la Falca" (which translated means: The Fat Man and the Thin Woman). She became popular for music videos, appearing in Shake Ya Tailfeather (with music from Bad Boys II, 2003), "The New Workout Plan" (Kanye West 2004) and the famous music video and song "Obsession (No es Amor)" (sung by Frankie J and featuring Baby Bash, in 2005).

Vida also appeared in Burger King's commercials with TenderCrisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch. Her voice was used in the "Scarface: The World Is Yours" video game.

Vida had some problems in 2005 due to her huge popularity: first her camera phone was stolen and allegedly hacked and then the pictures on it where misused and she was presented totally nude on the internet. The problem became a huge subject for tabloids but some other sources say the pictures were taken by her and the whole "stolen" idea was just a method to gain big publicity.

Vida rose from model to show hostess and many said she wasn't capable but later she proved being capable of doing whatever she wants to and that's why so many people adore her. Many people were envious and jealous for her success and tried to copy her.
